Southbank Place is a dynamic new development at the heart of the South Bank. Alongside the existing Shell Tower, five new residential towers designed by five leading architects create a bold addition to London’s iconic skyline.
BETWEEN SOUTHBANK PLACE AND THE RIVER THAMES AT THE FOOT OF THE LONDON EYE, THE LANDSCAPED GREEN LAWNS OF JUBILEE GARDENS ARE A POPULAR PLACE FOR RELAXING AND MEETING WITH FRIENDS.
WeWork’s vibrant co-working community of start-ups and entrepreneurs will occupy Two Southbank Place, while One Southbank Place will be home to Shell’s commercial offices. At ground level, a mix of cafés, delicatessens, and boutique shops will open onto Casson Square to create an exciting new destination. This new public square will add to the area’s many existing parks and public spaces, including the adjacent Jubilee Gardens and riverside walks.
Waterloo station’s new Tube entrance will open directly onto Southbank Place, providing ultra-convenient access to the station’s four Underground lines, and Overground services connecting London with the south.
